(And you're right, the momentary bliss of crispy skin is usually joined by the sadness of dry chicken breast, which I then try to hide in a mayo-heavy chicken salad to cover my sins. *That* is what I've made peace with up until now, but I am willing to be a big(ger) person and change for this chicken.)
Nora this looks SO FRIGGIN GOOD!!! I have a jar of that stuff in the fridge right now because Yan is obsessed with condiments:) I think I get around the skin v. dry breast thing by just never eating the white meat of a roast chicken lolololol.
I actually have an unfounded fear that Trader Joe's will randomly discontinue it... Reminds me of some hair products I get hooked on. What if they change the formulation?! What if it doesn't sell well enough and they remove the SKU from their product line?!
This looks so good & I too look for the crispy skin. Probably need some fancy Miele oven to finish off at the end for crispy skin, which alas, I do not have, so will cook as directed.
made this last night and it was delicious! great flavors and the zingy sauce is a must. had to really resist the temptation to open the dutch oven and check on it but it paid off.

ugh this is the problem with Trader Joe's! My kids have gotten hooked on multiple snacks that then vanished and the outrage is intense around here.
